Girl Scout Cookies + Wine

You asked + of course, I was up for the task!

Yes, I know that the world has been pairing wine to Girl Scout cookies for some time.  After all of your emails asking why I had not done it — I finally broke down and yes…took one for the team!  16 boxes of G.S. cookies later and oodles of wine, I did actually find some pretty killer combos.

Thin Mints paired to French Clément et Florian Berthier Coteaux du Giennois Sauvignon Blanc

Lemonades paired to Oregon Foris Moscato

Peanut Butter Tagalongs paired to Dessert Wine like Ice Wine, Late Harvest German Scheurebe or a sweeter style of Sémillon (like Sauternes)

Caramel deLites paired to a Cream Style Sherry or a Pedro Ximenez style Sherry
