About Justin and Argot: Previous chemical engineer and software programmer turned winemaker, Justin always had a strong love and interest for the world of wine. After years of devout consumerism, on going wine travel and passionate commitment towards learning more and more about the industry, he made his final jump into the wine industry in 2006 after joining California icon, Bevan Cellars, for a year amongst the winemaking process. The following year, Argot was founded. Argot, now a boutique winery of just 2200 cases, is considered one of the west coast’s most talked about and respected wineries of its size creating a wide variety of varietals from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah to Cabernet.
