Exclusive Italian Isole e Olena Winery Dinner Event
This event was originally scheduled on March 20th + has been postponed until July 23, 2020
Those attendees with a ticket may use their current reservation + ticket for the April 24th event.
I’m not gonna lie, for well over a decade I have had an enormous crush on this winery. Of course, I’m not the only one as Italian producer, Isole e Olena, has literally been noted as one of Tuscany’s most prominent producers, making this winery world famous. Isole e Olena’s winemaking history has been credited with helping revive the quality of Chianti in the 1970s, and its flagship wine–Cepparello–is one of the most famous international wines falling under the Super Tuscan designation.
So when the opportunity of sharing an evening with the winery’s longtime export manager, Milena Rizzo, and the winery’s EXQUISITE line up of wines came available for just one night in Minneapolis, you know I jumped at it!
Here’s the thing…I have been racking my brain as to how I could possibly explain the note worthy opportunity that is front of you. While I could swoon + swoon over the wines (which I will do!), and rave as to the pairings my catering partner, Create Catering, has immaculately created, there really are no words as to HOW UNIQUE this opportunity truly is.
One, the value of the wines you will enjoy are so RARE + UNIQUE that you will have bragging rights, beyond forever, as to what you will enjoy for the evening’s line up.
Need a peak? (Of course you do!)
We start with a delicious Franciacorta (because we need bubbles to start this event off right) –by the way, Italy’s answer to Champagne, yum!
Courses each paired to this Isole e Olena Winery line up:
2016 Chardonnay (you think you like $$$ FR Burgundian Chardonnay, ahem–this!)
2013 Proprieta Sperino ‘Uvaggio’ Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Croatina
2015 Chianti Classico (THIS is the rusticity of Italy, my friends–true Sangiovese)
2015 Syrah (how many Tuscan Syrahs have YOU had?)
Wait for it…A SIDE-BY-SIDE VERTICAL of the winery’s world famous flagship, Cepparello Sangiovese from 2001 + 2014 MAGNUMS! (yeah I know, I’m dying, too!)
Oh, and if that wasn’t your hook…we finish off the dinner with the winery’s very limited 2007 Vin Santo + a sampling of MY FAVORITE wine of the property’s portfolio–their 2004 Tuscan Cabernet (and if you know me, I don’t even drink Cabernet! This wine is absolutely life changing!!)
So, let’s break this down:
If you added just the individual bottles (I’m talking just ONE bottle from each course) you’ll be sampling over $900 of wine!!
You’ll enjoy SIX courses of hand crafted cuisine prepared exclusively by Create Catering’s executive chef, Corey Meier (if you’d heard me speak of Create, I always say ‘my favorite food in town!’)
And, we are limiting this dinner to just a very very small exclusive group, so that you have the chance to connect with our special guest, Milena Rizzo of Isole e Olena, in an intimate setting.
Things to also keep in mind:
Parking is FREE
The event is held at Create Catering, which is so very easy to get to from every hwy. in the city
There are no additional taxes, gratuities, etc. to pay on top of the INSANE price per head we are offering

Oh, and drink baller wine.
Do you really need any more reasons to sign up for this very EXCLUSIVE event??
