Check out my latest column in Artful Living Magazine’s Summer Edition regarding this rosey subject with a few recommendations as to my favs this summer.
Love that rosé from Anne Amie! The ’09 Hendry is still drinking beautifully, and a couple of our 2010 favorites this year, buck-for-buck, have been French: L’Orangeraie (http://twitpic.com/4ndr3k) and Domaine D’Arton (http://twitpic.com/59qtdk).
To avoid: the 2010 Elizabeth Rose. As my darling wife noted at Solo Vino’s 3rd Annual Rosé Tent Tasting, it smells like someone squeezed a grapefruit in their sweaty armpit. Can’t really get past that.
