Tacos for Tigers, Guacamole for Gorillas

Support Como Park Zoo & Conservatory at Chipotle Mexican Grill’s Statewide Fundraiser on Tuesday -September 17!

On September 17, Chipotle will give Como 50% of all sales made in Minnesota, as well as Hudson and Eau Claire, Wisconsin up to $35,000. All you have to do is bring a printout of the attached flyer, show it on your smartphone — or simply tell Chipotle you’re eating tacos for our tigers, pollo burritos for our polar bears, and guacamole for our gorillas at Como park Zoo and Conservatory.

Eat early and eat often at Chipotle Mexican Grill on September 17 to benefit Como Zoo and the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory!

Como Zoo’s animals always eat their veggies-in fact, they’ve put away nearly 190 pounds of leafy greens, zucchinis, peppers and other plants produced in the Chipotle Edible Garden throughout this great growing season. Introducing visitors to the benefits of locally grown food is one of the goals of this interpretive garden, a mission we share with our partners at Chipotle Mexican Grill who have come up with another fun way to support the animals and plants we love at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory.
