A girlfriend sent this my way so I thought I’d pass it on, super cool.
If YOU can come up with something better for any one of these…pass it on Please! Would love to hear some of your worst and best!

- If I could change one thing about my life, what would it be? Not a thing.
- If I could change one thing about the world, what would it be? Crappy people who try to intimidate others with their ‘so called’ wine knowledge

Favorite Red: 2005 Chappellet Merlot
Favorite White: 2006 Joseph Drouhin Chassagne-Montrachet
Favorite Rosé: 2009 Hendry Ranch
Favorite Pairing: Our friend’s grilled fillets, seasoned liberally with salt and pepper, paired with a 2007 Korta Katarina Plavac Mali.
Wow Nick, thanks!
Here are mine…
Fav Red: Any one of the Pinots I drank while at the Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne this past year in Burgundy…DRC! Always a sucker for Pinot…
Fav White: Nicolas Joly ‘Savennieres’
Fav Rosé: Oregon’s Anne Amie Midnight Saignée
Fav Pairing: Too many to count…but I did LOVE my Jack Link’s & S.A. Shiraz blend pairing (see below)
Oh yes, that Anne Amie rosé was quite good as well. It was really a great year as a whole for rosés, wasn’t it? That was our go-to category all spring and early summer.
The 2001 Archery Summit Estate you shared with us last May almost grabbed the spot of my Favorite Red in 2010. I think I loved both of them equally, but the 2005 Chappellet Merlot had an incredible impact on what I drank the rest of the year, and what I’m still drinking. The closest I came to finding anything like it in stature was the 2006 Pedestal Merlot from Long Shadows in the Columbia Valley. I picked up a bottle of that (and subsequently three more) for a great sale price the first time I stopped in at Sorella Wine & Spirits in downtown Minneapolis.
