A Shout Out to my Peeps!

A little over a year ago I met a very cool couple through a class that I taught at Cooks of Crocus Hill.  The class: Under the Tuscan Sun, I can now say is one of my favorite classes to teach, as it was here when taught the first time that I met my friends Nick and Katie.
Nick and Katie, a very hip young couple from Minneapolis, came to my class originally as it was a gift from four of their friends.  Soon after, I regularly started seeing Nick and Katie as regulars to ALL of my Cooks Classes.  I had developed ‘groupies’!  With open palates and an enthusiasm for learning more about wine, my newly friend-ed wine drinkers, were rip raring ready to go when wanting to take on more, in the wine world.  They are fearless, studious and at the same time…pretty darn fun to drink wine with on any occasion.
Today, I celebrate you – My Peeps! – Nick and Katie, as my friends, students and of course, my groupies!  This past week was their first wedding anniversary and to celebrate, Nick wrote a beautiful blog on a friend’s website to honor his gorgeous bride.  Celebrating one of my favorite wineries, Chappellet from Napa Valley – here is Nick’s Blog Post.  Check it out!!
