Having Amusee participate in our Rotary TasteWest fundraiser added an element of fun and education to the event. While discussing wines served at the event, Leslee played a, “Price is Right” wine game where guests were able to test their wine price knowledge by tasting various wines and winning wine prizes. This was not only memorable for our guests, but also contributed to our fundraising effort as a revenue generating activity. Our guests are still talking about the fun evening and we look forward to having Amusee participate with us again next year.
Leslee helped me plan an intimate dinner party and selected the wines to accompany each course. Leslee introduced the wines that we were drinking by course and gave us a “mini-class” on the grapes and vineyards that they were made from. She even arranged for chef prepared appetizers AND servers to round out the meal and the party, which allowed for me to relax and enjoy my guests! Leslee is a joy and fun to have around…she is serious about wine…but doesn’t treat wine so seriously as many sommeliers do…

Wow!!!!! is all I can say. With the help of Leslee and Amusée, we pulled off a surprise birthday/wine tasting party for my wife, Jan and she was completely surprised! THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I first met Leslee at a “Bubbles Class” at Cooks of Crocus on Grand Avenue. I can’t say enough about Leslee and Amusée. My wife and I, and another couple, attended a class that she taught with Mike Shannon at Cooks of Crocus Hill – ‘The Best of the Best Pairings’. We had an absolute blast. Leslee’s knowledge about wine is amazing, and we loved the non-stuffy way that she shared that knowledge. You can’t help but learn from her and have a lot of fun in the process. We’ve been to other wine classes, but this is the first where we were able to totally apply what we learned at home to better understand and appreciate the wines we drink and better distinguish those we do and don’t like and why. Leslee is the most approachable sommelier we have ever met. She is a walking wine library yet still makes the whole wine experience very fun, accessible and interesting.
