A Cooking the Market and Iron Chef mashup with a Wine Pairing Challenge!

Iron Somm is a completely-hands-on, inspired-by-the-season cooking + wine pairing class. We’ll determine the menu on the spot based on what’s fresh, new and interesting at the Midtown Global Market. This unique, high-energy class is perfect for meeting new people, bringing together a group of friends, celebrating special events…even group team building!
Join Sommelier Leslee Miller (of Amusée) and our chefs Molly Herrmann (also of Tastebud Catering ) + Michael Lamon on this culinary adventure! Great for cooks of all levels of experience and knowledge – we please beginners and gourmets alike.
We’ll start with a pair of house-made appetizers, as well as a champagne cocktail to welcome you! We’ll unveil a secret ingredient that ALL teams must use in their dish. And then (!) each team must choose a wine to pair with their dish (wines choices provided by Amusée). Very Iron Chef-y. And Somm-y. The chefs will help each team create a dish, and Leslee will teach the finer points of wine pairing. 
We cook, pair….and VOTE! Only one team will be victorious, but everyone’s a winner with this class!
