Each year our menu adds just a few more courses, the variety of food and wine pairings become even more diverse and the ‘edu-tainment’ factor…well, let’s just say that my hermano, Hector, and I become ‘more ‘colorful’ each year. Join us Thursday Feb 12th for our annual Aphrodisiac wine dinner at Cafe Ena! Chef Ruiz will be pairing up with our friend, Sommelier Leslee Miller of Amusée. It is a night you do not want to miss!

Menu

Arrival– Champagne drizzled with strawberry-lemon pearl caviar

Amuse Bouche– Oyster en crudo, yellow aji-fennel foam

First Course – Lobster- crab ricotta cannoli served over a Mexican vanilla- ginger sauce, garnished with a citrus asparagus salad.

Second Course– Almond crusted Chilean sea bass served over a purple potato-avocado crab salad, garnished with basil-chili oil.

Third Course– Confit asparagus bundle served over a truffle-almond sauce,garnished with an apple-pear marmalade.

Fourth Course- Oven roasted lamb served over roasted spinach gnocchi, red wine-fig demi glaze garnished with fresh arugula-truffle salad.

Fifth Course  Basil- garlic crusted filet served over baby spinach, confit carrots, arugula drizzled with fig- 20yr Porto sauce garnished with champagne apple compote.

Sixth Course- Caramelized pineapple served over a banana-chocolate mousse garnish with allspice-mint liquor.
